Fox Business Host Pushes Theory That Capitol Rioters Were ‘Democrats In MAGA Clothing’

Fox Business news anchor Maria Bartiromo received backlash this week after pushing a conspiracy theory on national television by claiming that the people that charged into the U.S. Capitol were just Democrats in MAGA clothing.

She claimed the following: “A new report says that some far-right protesters have discussed posing as members of the National Guard to infiltrate the inauguration — the way Democrats infiltrated two weeks ago and put on MAGA clothing.”

Many Twitter users weren’t happy about Bartiromo’s claims and many called her out on it.

When does Bartiromo become held accountable for continuing to perpetuate the lies about who was responsible for the January 6th insurrection. These lies are then fully consumed and re-spread among the gullible viewers. Where is accountability and consequences? Enough, already.
