A Florida man is now facing charges after he allegedly attacked two women after accusing them of stealing mangoes.
According to WINK News, the incident began when Donald Mueller pulled his car over to confront two women who were picking mangoes. That’s when he shouted racial slurs and even went on to spit in one of the women’s face.
“When he screamed at me ‘Black lives don’t matter,’ I was beyond myself,” said Leiya R. “And then physically spit in my face.”
According to the report, the property owner had given the women permission to pick the mangoes, but Mueller wrongfully attacked them and claimed they were picking mangoes from another property.

Mueller faces charges of burglary and battery as well as a hate crime charge, and has been released on a $2,000 bond.
