One of Donald Trump’s personal valets tested positive for coronavirus today and CNN’s John King is wondering if the president should be put in isolation for precautions.
On Thursday, King welcomed former CDC official Dr. Cyrus Shahpar to the show to talk about the recent news and asked Shahpar if it was advised for Trump to keep on doing his normal duties or if he should be in quarantine.
According to Shahpar, Trump needs to begin a quarantine for 14 days immediately.
“And that means staying home, no visitors, separating yourself from others, monitoring for symptoms, wearing a face covering when you’re around others … that would be the recommendation,” Shahpar said.
“…as a high-visibility person I think he should set an example and really go into that quarantine for 14 days,” Shahpar added.
