Republican Representative Marc Molinaro of New York didn’t mince words when condemning the disruptive theatrics of his colleague, Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene from Georgia. Molinaro firmly declared that it’s time to halt Greene’s political circus, which includes her recent motion to oust Speaker Mike Johnson.

In a no-nonsense interview on CNN’s “The Source,” Molinaro stated, “Greene’s relentless theatrics and her attempts to hold Congress hostage must end. I won’t tolerate being part of her sideshow.” He underscored that a significant number of his fellow conservatives and moderates share his disdain for Greene’s antics, seeing them as detrimental distractions.

“Her theater and this constant effort to hold the Congress hostage has to come to an end,” Molinaro said. “The Source” on Wednesday. “I’m going to have no part in it.”

“And a good number of my colleagues — conservative and moderate — believe that enough is enough,” he added. “It is time to move on and to move past this kind of nonsense.”

Greene’s move to push Johnson out has only heightened tensions, especially regarding crucial matters like aid to Ukraine. Despite this, Johnson has laid out a robust plan for supporting Ukraine, Israel, and other allies. However, his approach, which includes rejecting certain Senate-approved bills, has caused rifts within his own party.

Molinaro forcefully emphasized the urgent need for bipartisan cooperation in fulfilling America’s international commitments. He stressed that unity is vital in supporting allies and standing against adversaries like Putin. Molinaro made it clear that he’s committed to working across party lines to address the nation’s challenges and serve his constituents.

“We have a bipartisan government,” Molinaro said. “…And the only way good policy is going to be made better, the only way we’re going to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with our allies — Israel and Ukraine —the only way we push back against evil like Putin, is to do it in a bipartisan way,”

“And I want to be judged by my ability and willingness to work across the aisle with anyone who’s honest and earnest about solving the problems that face America and the people I serve,” he concluded.
