Self-proclaimed prophet and prominent Trump supporter, Hank Kunneman, recently said in a broadcast that people should pray for all leaders — except president Joe Biden.
“I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them,” 1 Timothy 2:1-2 declares. “Pray this way for kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity.”
But according to Hunneman, Christians can ignore this direction from the Bible when it comes to President Biden.
“‘Pray for those who are in authority,’” Hunneman said, paraphrasing the Bible. “But here’s the thing — [Biden] is not in authority, because how he got there was done through what our Constitution says is treason.”
"Prophet" Hank Kunneman says that even though the Bible commands believers to pray for those in authority, Christians don't have to pray for Biden because "he's not in authority" since he got into office through "treason." pic.twitter.com/qSrEsOIA4P
