A Colorado man threw a tantrum during a flight after he was told he needed to wear his mask. Reports state that the man urinated his seat and is now facing charges for interfering with a flight crew and attendants.

According to KXAS-TV, 24-year-old Landon Grier could face a maximum of 20 years in prison and a possible fine of $250,000 for his crime.

Grier was arrested by the FBI on March 9 after the flight landed in Denver. According to the FBI’s affidavit, Grier was trying to sleep when he swatted at a flight attendant who repeatedly tried to get him to put on a mask. Flight attendants were later summoned by a passenger who saw Grier urinating in his seat.

Grier reportedly told the FBI that he had several beers and “a couple of shots” before boarding the flight, fell asleep, and “awoke to being yelled at by the flight attendants who told him he was peeing.”

“He stated he had no recollection of hitting the flight attendant and didn’t know if he was peeing,” FBI Special Agent Martin Daniell III said.
