Donald Trump is once again lashing out at Fox News. In a furious Monday morning tirade, the president accused the network of giving Democrats too much attention and being too politically correct, and urged his supporters to watch his Kansas rally somewhere else.

The outburst is the latest chapter in Trump’s increasingly bitter feud with a network that helped build his political brand. Despite Fox News’ longstanding appeal among conservative viewers, Trump has repeatedly lashed out whenever its coverage fails to meet his expectations.

On Monday, Trump took aim at the network again, complaining that it was defending Democrats and straying from the hard-line political coverage his MAGA base expects.

He then urged his supporters to watch his Kansas rally on RSBN, a pro-Trump streaming network, rather than rely on Fox.

Yup. Apparently, if Fox doesn’t give him the coverage he wants, Trump expects his followers to take their loyalty, and their eyeballs, elsewhere. So much for independent journalism.

This isn’t the first time Trump has publicly attacked the network. In recent months, he has complained about Fox’s coverage of the war with Iran, the amount of airtime given to Democrats, and the network’s failure to provide the rally coverage he believes he deserves.

He has also taken issue with interviews featuring political figures he opposes, including Michigan Senate hopeful Abdul El-Sayed, and has raised complaints connected to the departure of former Fox host Maria Bartiromo.

The recurring clashes highlight an awkward reality for Fox News. Trump remains one of the most influential figures in conservative politics, and his supporters are a core part of the network’s audience. But the president has shown little hesitation about attacking the outlet when its programming doesn’t align with his political priorities.

For Trump, favorable coverage isn’t simply a bonus. His repeated complaints suggest he expects loyalty from media outlets that cater to his supporters—and is willing to publicly pressure them when he believes they’re falling short.

His latest broadside also puts Fox in a familiar bind: It can cover the president on its own terms, but doing so risks inviting lawsuits for spreading his lies.

And by telling MAGA supporters to watch his Kansas rally on another platform, Trump is making clear that he wants his audience to follow him, not necessarily the network that helped make him a political force.
