Matt Gaetz is livid after Martin Short took a shot at him during the Saturday Night Live Christmas special.

Short, hosting the show, made a quick jab while delivering his monologue: “We must move this along because I have 10 sketches to get to where I play an elf. Also, I left my Uber driver waiting, and you know how testy Matt Gaetz can get!”

Gaetz, clearly offended, quickly hit back on social media: “SNL just called me an Uber driver? As an insult? It’s a job held by HONEST & HARD WORKING people. Imagine being so out-of-touch that you insult Uber drivers just to take a swipe at me. Sad!”

He added, “Working people are proud people.”

Gaetz, who resigned from Congress amid ethics probes and controversies, had briefly been considered for Attorney General under Trump but withdrew from the position. Since then, he’s turned to Cameo and his own podcast.

Gaetz didn’t take the roast lightly, calling the show “a disgrace”. The feud’s not over yet.
