Late on Sunday night, Donald Trump went on a furious rant, attacking the Department of Justice for investigating him multiple times. He has been fuming since getting a target letter last week, informing him about an investigation connected to the Jan. 6 riot he incited. And, of course, he’s blaming the Justice Department for all his troubles.
Writing on his Truth Social platform, Trump questioned the DOJ’s actions, suggesting that they, along with Democrat District Attorneys and Attorneys General, were unfairly targeting him as a political opponent during the presidential campaign and urged to stop these “monsters” from causing further harm.
“How many times can Crooked Joe Biden’s DEPARTMENT OF INJUSTICE, TOGETHER WITH THEIR LOCAL DEMOCRAT D.A.’S & A.G.’S, INDICT HIS POLITICAL OPPONENT DURING THE COURSE OF THE CAMPAIGN? DO THEY UNDERSTAND THE DAMAGE BEING DONE TO AMERICA? IT WILL ONLY GET WORSE” he wrote. “WE MUST STOP THESE “MONSTERS” FROM FURTHER DESTROYING OUR COUNTRY!”
Trump went on to question whether Attorney General Garland and Jack Smith comprehend the ongoing presidential campaign and the recent poll numbers, and wondered the timing of the charges and accused the DOJ of prosecutorial misconduct and election interference.

Why didn’t they bring these ridiculous charges years before – Why did they wait to bring them NOW – A virtually unheard of scenario?” he fumed. “PROSECUTORIAL MISCONDUCT! ELECTION INTERFERENCE!”
He finished off with a spooky meme that had a QAnon hashtag and said, “NOTHING CAN STOP WHAT IS COMING. NOTHING.”
