If you are an arachnophobe, you might want to look away or you’ll have nightmares forever after seeing the skin-crawling footage of a spider that was found living inside a woman’s ear in India (video below).
The horrifying video has resurfaced online this week after originally shocking people around the globe in 2018. It shows the eight-legged freak nesting inside her ear canal, leaving social media users scratching their heads.
“How did the person not notice?” one user wrote.
“I would find a living creature crawling around in my ear unbearable, especially if I knew it was a spider,” another user chimed.
A third commented: “I hate spiders and would completely freak out if a spider was in my ear. Having said that, his face was kinda cute.”
According to the India Times, the arachnid was found in 49-year-old housewife Lakshmi.
She made the stomach-churning discovery after experiencing an earache in Bangalore, India. As her condition worsened, the woman asked her daughter to look at her ear canal.
While her daughter couldn’t find anything, Lakshmi continued to feel sharp pains and unbearable discomfort.
Lakshmi’s husband decided to rush her to the hospital where doctors discovered the invader spider and evicted it from his home.
“I was terrified as I could feel movement of a creature in my ear. The acute earache followed by sharp pains suffocated me,” Lakshmi reportedly said. “I couldn’t think of anything and was petrified when the doctor confirmed the presence of a spider in my ear.”
