Donald Trump’s former campaign chairman Paul Manafort was removed from a plane at Miami International Airport before it took off for Dubai, Miami law enforcement officials confirmed to the Associated Press.
Miami-Dade Police Detective Alvaro Zabaleta told the news service that Manafort was removed from the Emirates Airline flight Sunday night because he carried a revoked passport.
The official added that the removal was carried out “without incident” but directed further questions to U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
