Fox News host Sean Hannity sparked the ire of the internet after “parroting Russian propaganda” by airing a statement from the Kremlin to attack Joe Biden on his show.
The right-wing influencer relayed a comment from Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov live on air, which was read out on Hannity’s show this week.
“Given such irritability from Mr. Biden, his fatigue and sometimes forgetfulness… fatigue that leads to aggressive statements, we will not make harsh assessments, so as not to cause more aggression,” Hannity read with a smirk on his face.
Adding his own criticism, he added: “Now like I’ve been saying, Biden’s weakness on the world stage, it is emboldening bad actors all across the globe as Biden and Democrats abandon the peace through strength strategy that was successful under president Trump and even President Reagan.”
Hannity’s action prompted a swift backlash from media users who didn’t mince words to point out their outrage.
“Move to Russia since you clearly have more allegiance to them,”, one Twitter user wrote.
“How can people who claim to be patriots listen to this man?”, another social media user wondered.
“We all knew they used Kremlin talking points and now they’re doing it out and in the open,” another said.

This is literally just airing Kremlin Propaganda.
I'm guessing there's a bit of projection here from putin directly.— MMS (@angry_here) March 19, 2022

So FoxNews is now featured prominently on Russian Propaganda broadcasts, and FoxNews hosts are also using #RussianPropaganda on their broadcasts
How has no one in the media gotten #FoxNews management to comment on the record about this?https://t.co/Cfw4OUAsqA
