Republican Senators are not budging during Donald Trump’s impeachment trial. They refuse to listen to any new evidence regarding the case and the majority of them have already made up their mind that they will not remove Trump from office.
But a shocking new story from CBS News appears to reveal just why Republicans are so hesitant to go against President Trump.
According to CBS News’ Chief Congressional Correspondent Nancy Cordes, “One Trump confidant tells CBS News that GOP senators have been warned: ‘Vote against the president and your head will be on a pike.’”
