White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany claimed on Tuesday that it was “peculiar” that former Vice President Joe Biden wears a mask in public but doesn’t do so at home.
McEnany says “it’s a bit peculiar” that Biden doesn’t wear a mask when in the basement by his wife but “he’s wearing one outdoors when he’s socially distant.”

McEnany is smearing Biden for following CDC guidelines. According to the CDC, it is recommended to wear a mask in a public setting. Biden’s home is a private setting, but McEnany appears to have forgotten that.
