Over the Summer, Donald Trump had a lot to say about Black Lives Matter activists who were out on the streets protesting against racial and social injustice. During that time, Trump took to Twitter to claim that anyone who vandalizes or damages federal buildings or monuments deserved at least ten years in prison.
Trump tweeted the following at the time: “Anarchists, Agitators or Protestors who vandalize or damage our Federal Courthouse in Portland, or any Federal Buildings in any of our Cities or States, will be prosecuted under our recently re-enacted Statues & Monuments Act. MINIMUM TEN YEARS IN PRISON. Don’t do it!”

While Trump didn’t directly said this about his supporters who stormed into the U.S. Capitol and vandalized it, many people on Twitter reminded Trump of his words and wondered if he felt the same about his supporters.
Never forget. You are responsible for this. You encited this. You can tweet all you want but you are the one who enabled all of this.

So I expect everyone involved in DC will be prosecuted and imprisoned for the next 10 years minimum after tonight

And yet you've authorised this very action on Capitol building. You should hand yourself in, by your own admission
