In a new outburst, former President Donald Trump launched a fresh tirade against the Democratic Party as it kicked off its convention in Chicago on Monday. Just before he was set to address the economy at a Pennsylvania event, Trump took to Truth Social to express his frustration about facing Vice President Kamala Harris instead of President Biden. Ironically, he also claimed that Harris would be easier to defeat.
Trump accused the Democrats of orchestrating what he described as America’s “first ever ‘Coup,'” claiming that he is now unfairly facing two opponents instead of one. His grievance stemmed from President Joe Biden’s recent decision to step down after a prolonged campaign, endorsing Harris as the Democratic nominee for president.
Biden is set to address the Democratic National Convention later this evening.
In his social media post, Trump raged, “The Democrats staged the first ever “Coup” in America. Crooked Joe Biden was told, ‘Sorry Joe, you’re losing to Trump, BIG, and you can’t beat him – You’re Fired.'”
He continued, “So now, for the first time in American history, I’ll have to beat TWO Candidates, the second being a Radical Left Marxist, Comrade Kamala Harris.”
“It’s not fair,” he exclaimed, adding, “perhaps even another form of Election Interference. But the good news is that she should be easier to beat than Crooked Joe, as the USA will never allow itself to become a Communist Country. THE DEMOCRATS ARE, ‘A THREAT TO DEMOCRACY?’”
Trump’s latest tirade comes amid a broader pattern of provocative behavior. Recently, he has promoted a series of fake images and altered song lyrics targeting Harris, engaged in fearmongering about migrants, and dismissed election polls showing him trailing as “fake.” His inflammatory rhetoric underscores his ongoing campaign strategy, which includes challenging the legitimacy of both the political process and the media.
