An interview between President Donald Trump and ABC News reporter Terry Moran spiraled out of control after Trump insisted a fake photo was real — and demanded Moran go along with it.

The exchange happened during ABC’s “Day 100” interview, when Moran brought up Kilmar Abrego Garcia — the Maryland man who was wrongly deported by Trump’s administration. Trump abruptly changed the subject, pointing to a manipulated photo showing gang tattoos on Abrego Garcia’s knuckles.

“He said he wasn’t a member of a gang, and then you look on his knuckles, they said ‘MS-13’ — wait a minute — he had ‘MS-13’ on his knuckles,” Trump claimed.

Moran didn’t let it slide. “That was photoshopped,” he told the president.

Trump didn’t like that answer. “That was photoshopped? Terry, I’ve given you the big break of a lifetime,” Trump shot back. “You’re doing the interview. I picked you because frankly, I’ve never heard of you, but that’s OK. Terry, you’re not being very nice.”

Moran stayed firm. He reminded Trump that the photo had already been proven fake. Abrego Garcia was later photographed with Senator Chris Van Hollen (D-Md.), with no gang tattoos visible.

Still, Trump doubled down.

He insisted the image was real and offered to show it to Moran during the interview. When Moran tried to steer the conversation back to Ukraine, Trump pushed harder — pressuring the reporter to admit he’d “look at” the photo later.

“It’s such a disservice,” Trump snapped. “Why don’t you just say yes, he does, and go on to something else?”

The interview quickly lost focus after that, as Trump’s fixation on a fake image took center stage.
