Former President Donald Trump is facing backlash after remarks made about supporters of Vice President Kamala Harris during a recent rally in Wisconsin. The speech, which featured Trump battling a fly and criticizing his own campaign team, included a concerning comment that shocked political observers.
At the rally, Trump posed a rhetorical question to attendees: “Is there anybody here who’s going to vote for lyin’ Kamala?” He quickly added, “Actually, I should say don’t raise your hand; it would be very dangerous. We don’t want to see anybody get hurt. Please don’t raise your hand.”
The Harris campaign promptly shared the clip on social media, highlighting Trump’s warning that identifying as a Harris voter could lead to harm.
The response online was immediate, with many users voicing their support for Harris in defiance.
One user remarked, “We will get hurt by whom? Crybaby entitled white boyz? Please. I’m voting proudly for Kamala and I don’t care who doesn’t like it.”
Retired engineer David Rommel expressed his voting intentions, stating, “I’m voting for Kamala! I’m a Republican that is not opposed to taking on that challenge. The only thing that scares me is Trump winning another term.”
Legal activist group CALL TO ACTIVISM questioned Trump’s statement, asking, “What the hell does this mean? Is that a threat?”
Another account known for liberal commentary, AesPolitics1, condemned Trump, declaring, “Never before in history have we seen an anti-American piece of s— as bad as Trump.”
Adding to the chorus, one user slammed Trump’s remarks as “incitement of violence.”
