Trump Takes Aim At Judge’s Wife Shortly After Gag Order is Reinstated

Staff Writer By Staff Writer

Hours after an appeals court reinstating a gag order against Donald Trump, the former president turned his attention to the family of fraud trial Judge Arthur Engoron on Thursday. The New York appellate court implemented a gag order specifically preventing Trump from targeting court personnel. Notably, the scope of this limited order does not extend to the judge or his family.

Trump, who had previously accused the judge’s wife of making comments about him on social media, continued his attacks on Thursday.

On his Truth Social platform, the Republican presidential candidate wrote, “This is the Judge’s Wife and Family that are putting these things out. I am not entitled to a Jury under this Statute. Can this be happening in America? This is the most unfair Trial in the History of New York, and I’ve had some pretty unfair Trials!”

Accompanying his statement, Trump shared a tweet he alleged was authored by the judge’s wife, featuring images of the former president in an orange prison jumpsuit.

The legitimacy of the posts attributed by Trump to Dawn Engoron, the judge’s wife, remains unverified, as she consistently asserts that she has never had an account on Twitter or X.
