Donald Trump needs to retake High School World History. On Monday, he falsely referred to the 1918 pandemic as the “Great 1917 pandemic.” Not only that, but he went on to claim that that pandemic ended the second World War.
To remind Trump, World War II ended in Europe following Benito Mussolini being executed and Adolph Hitler committing suicide. The war in the Pacific ended after Japan surrendered, following the U.S. detonating two atomic bombs.
