Donald Trump was asked on Monday if he had any plans to pay respects to the late John Lewis. His answer didn’t come as a surprise.
As ABC News reports: “Asked if he planned to pay his respects to late civil rights icon Rep. John Lewis, who will lie in state at the U.S. Capitol, Pres. Trump says, ‘No, I won’t be going. No.’”

The news didn’t shock people as many of them were actually relieved that Trump decided not to attend the funeral service.
And this alone–the smallness of a man–a US President–who won't pay his respects to a US Congressman. This alone is reason to send him packing in November.

It's good that Trump doesn't plan to attend the memorial since his entire persona is an incarnate insult to everything Congressman Lewis stood for, but it's still insulting that he couldn't be arsed to come up with an excuse for not showing up.
