Donald Trump has made a huge fuzz about voting by mail and claiming that it leads to voter fraud that somehow helps Democrats. What Trump hasn’t told you is that his own family is sending robocalls to his supporters and encouraging them to vote by mail, according to a new CNN report.
According to the report, the robocalls were sent for the special election in California’s 25th congressional district.
In one of the robocalls, daughter-in-law Lara Trump told supporters that they “can safely and securely vote for Mike Garcia by returning your mail-in ballot by May 12.”
Lara Trump also encourages supporters to “make your vote count for Mike Garcia and get it in the mail by Tuesday.”
Additionally, first son Donald Trump Jr. also encouraged supporters to vote by mail.
“Don’t let us down, remember to return your ballot now,” Trump Jr. said in one robocall. “Make your vote count for Republican Mike Garcia and get it in the mail by Tuesday, May 12.”
Trump has been pushing the idea that voting by mail is a Democratic plot to steal the election. Trump himself has voted by mail on multiple occasions.
