Donald Trump launched into a fiery tirade late last night aimed at Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), after she lambasted his debate performance as a “manifesto of lies” during a recent MSNBC interview.

Pelosi didn’t hold back, recalling her State of the Union speech rip-up as a response to what she described as Trump’s deceitful claims. She sharply criticized Trump for falsely asserting he wanted to send troops to the Capitol on January 6, 2021, a move she, as House speaker at the time, allegedly thwarted.

“This is a dangerous person and evil,” Pelosi told MSNBC’s Jen Psaki.

That apparently triggered Trump, who retaliated on his Truth Social platform around 12:30 a.m. Monday, evidently incensed by Pelosi’s remarks.

“Crazy Nancy Pelosi, who the other day was exposed by her daughter, a filmmaker, as being fully responsible for the lack of security on January 6th is, in my opinion, more cognitively impaired than Crooked Joe Biden. I just watched her do an interview, and she was way “off.” Additionally, she is suffering from TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME, sometimes referred to as TDS, and her case is terminal! She is a sick “puppy,” and always has been!!!” Trump wrote.

During her interview, Pelosi also took aim at President Joe Biden’s debate performance, conceding it was a tough night for him. Despite this, she emphasized Biden’s focus on policy versus Trump’s alleged dishonesty and lack of coherence.

“It was not a good night, let’s face that, in terms of performance for Joe Biden. He’s so much better than that,” she said, adding that Biden tried to talk about policy and plans while Trump simply lied.

“How can you have a legitimate debate when somebody is totally lying? You have to completely dispel their falsehoods,” she said. “This guy’s old. He doesn’t have a stream of thought that is logical,” she said. “And nobody says anything about that, that he can be so disassociated from the facts.”

In contrast, Pelosi reaffirmed her support for Biden, praising his integrity and empathy while denouncing Trump’s leadership as riddled with lies and self-interest.
