Trump Brags About ‘Ending’ Healthcare For 20 Million Americans

It appears President Donald Trump couldn’t be happier about his ploy to rip health care away from 20 million Americans. On Saturday morning, he bragged on Twitter about “ending Obamacare as we know it” prompting a furious response from social media users.

“For historical purposes remember, I was able to get rid of the INDIVIDUAL MANDATE, the most unpopular and expensive part of ObamaCare. You are no longer forced to pay a fortune for the “privilege” of NOT getting bad healthcare. This ended ObamaCare as we knew it. Thank you!” Trump tweeted.

Of course, his claim is false, as the Affordable Care Act (ACA), or Obamacare, is still the law of the land.

For the entirety of his presidency, Trump and his Republican allies tried to end the signature healthcare law but their effort was ultimately rejected by the Sumpre court.
