During an appearance on Fox News on Monday, Donald Trump’s youngest son, said he will “absolutely” release surveillance footage of the FBI’s raid last week on his father’s Mar-a-Lago while claiming that the FBI didn’t want transparency because the agents “didn’t wear bodycams during the search.”
He also told host Sean Hannity that he and his wife Lara had got into an “argument” with two people who wanted to buy their dinner at a restaurant on Sunday night.
He claimed that both diners wanted to pay for his meal because of “what the US government has done to our family”, in reference to the FBI’s execution of a search warrant on his father’s Florida home.
“Last night, I had an argument between two people in a restaurant who were trying to buy Lara and I dinner to apologize for what the United States government has done to our family,” Eric Trump said.
“I mean, you wouldn’t believe the energy out there,” he then claimed. “I’ve been through all of these firestorms over the year. I’ve never seen America more mad than it is right now.”
Clips of the interview were shared on social media. Naturally, users were quick to respond.
Watch the videos and some of the reactions below:
Hannity: You still have the surveillance tape, is that correct? Are you allowed to share that with the country?
Eric Trump: Absolutely. At the right time. pic.twitter.com/5SwBKPqDVx

The Donald Trump story is a crime story.
Trump enablers are criminals as much as Trump is.
Republicans enabling/defending Trump as if they are defending their party, they are not! They are destroying the Republican party.

Of all of the things that never happened to Eric Trump, this is the thing that happened least of all.https://t.co/CTXzJYrYq6

We’re still witnessing the largest under-reaction to a violent insurrection led by a sitting president in the history of humankind. It’s because the Republican Party/trump are experts at one thing: Denying the premise of reality and convincing people anti-government is government

“I had an argument between two people…who were trying to buy Lara and I dinner…”
Wait.. so he observed 2 people arguing with e/o over who would buy Eric & Lara dinner?
Or two people collectively wanted to buy them dinner “to apologize” and Eric argued they didn’t need to?

That was a bit confusing to me also. I'm suspecting he had trouble in English class.
