A violent incident shook a neighborhood in San Antonio, Texas, as gunfire erupted in a backyard early Thursday morning, leaving three individuals injured, including a teenager, police said.
San Antonio Police responded swiftly to the scene off Steves Avenue at approximately 2:30 a.m., where they discovered a 17-year-old with a gunshot wound to the arm. Additionally, two men in their 30s were found with abdominal injuries, one of whom also suffered gunshot wounds to the shoulder and leg.
Emergency services rushed all three victims to the hospital, where they are currently being treated. According to reports from local news outlet KENS 5, two of the victims are in stable condition, while the third remains in serious condition.
Authorities detained four individuals believed to be connected to the shooting, as investigations into the incident continue, stated the San Antonio Police Department to KENS 5.
