On Sunday, Colorado congresswoman Rep. Lauren Boebert made an unusual request to her followers: To share their “favorite verses” from the Bible. And the internet gleefully stepped up to the plate.
As expected, Boebert’s request triggered an avalanche of comments calling her out for her own transgressions while being urged to live the teaching of Jesus for a change.
“What’s your favorite Bible verse?” tweeted the gun-toting, QAnon-endorsing lawmaker before being deluged with an assortment of critical comments and creative non-Biblical responses.
Check some of the responses below.

I am not Christian, but I do like the one that is clear about worshiping false prophets. I suggest those who keep making Trump the face of the Republican Party should look that one up.

"Thou shalt have no other gods before Me" is one of the Ten Commandments found in the Hebrew Bible at Exodus 20:2 and Deuteronomy 5:6. It is the central tenet of the Abrahamic religions and prohibits the religion's followers from worshipping gods other than the Lord.

Matthew 6:5 And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray.
