Former President Donald Trump and his VP choice, Senator JD Vance, made a joint appearance on Fox News that left many feeling distinctly uncomfortable.

Critics were left cringing after Donald Trump and his prospective Vice President JD Vance appeared on Fox News for a joint interview, during which Trump candidly shared his rationale for selecting Vance.

When asked by host Jesse Watters to elaborate on why he chose Vance as his potential Vice President, Trump responded:
“We’ve always had a good chemistry. And originally, JD was probably not for me but he didn’t know me. And then, when we got to know each other, he liked me, maybe more than anybody liked me. And he would stick up for me and he’d fight for the worker as much as I fight for the worker.”

“We just had an automatic chemistry,” he added.

The statement, laden with personal undertones, seemed to catch many off guard. Critics and viewers alike took to social media immediately, expressing their discomfort at Trump’s revelation. The perceived lack of political tact and the emphasis on personal affinity over policy or qualifications left a palpable sense of disbelief among those watching.
