President Donald Trump once again left the internet scratching its collective head after posting a baffling message on Truth Social. The post read: “South Carerdddd.”

That’s it. No context. No explanation. Just that. The message was quickly deleted, but not before social media users captured it and shared it across platforms.

MSNBC host Jonathan Lemire shared an image of the post, and the reactions poured in immediately. Some were funny, some were worrying, but all were bewildered.

“The baffling part: South Carerdddd. The hilarious part: 262 likes,” replied user Scarlet Tanager. “He’s at turnip stage on the cognitive test 😆”

Others compared it to the kind of texts an elderly relative might send. “These posts increasing look like the texts my 85 year old mother sends me. At night. From her bed in the skilled nursing facility,” wrote @btw3267.

User @AnaFirefly22 chimed in with a reference to one of Trump’s past infamous gaffes: “Covfefe bela is sounding more and more lucid everyday 🫠😵‍💫”

Some responses were more serious, questioning whether there might be a medical reason behind the bizarre post. “Stroke?,” asked user M. Perez.

“Dude just stroked out,” wrote @_JeremyWrites.

And then there was the comment that summed up the collective concern and confusion: Tish573 wrote, “Now we know why he needed a MRI.”

This two-word post might be one of Trump’s strangest yet. For now, the deleted post lives on only in screenshots—and in the swirling speculation about what, exactly, was going through the president’s mind.
