Donald Trump made a fool of himself in front of the world yet again. On Friday, Trump claimed during a conference that he discovered that Abraham Lincoln was a Republican, as if people didn’t already know that already.
Trump said the following: “Nobody ever heard of it before I came along … Abraham Lincoln was a Republican.”

As a lot of Twitter users pointed out, Trump probably just found out that Lincoln was a Republican and he wanted to make it seem as if no one else knew.
Trump thinks that because *he* only just learned that Abraham Lincoln was a Republican that *everyone* just learned that Abraham Lincoln was a Republican.

He'd say oh, just like mine

Exactly. There are so many examples of him saying nobody's ever heard of something that we've all heard of. It's too obvious what he's really saying.

I’d say there’s a good chance he’d never heard of him

It’s really amazing how he pulls that emotion out of so many of us! And I hate him for that too
