The State of Florida is one of the biggest battleground states when it comes to the presidential election. A new poll is now showing former Vice President Joe Biden with a 13-point lead over Donald Trump in the southern state.
According to a new Quinnipiac Poll, Biden has a 51 to 38 point lead over Trump. That’s a major change from the last Quinnipiac Poll from the state, which showed Biden ahead by only four points – 46 to 42.
The race was much closer in 2016 when Trump barely beat then-Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton by just over one percentage point.
Trump will try to argue that polls don’t matter or that they’re “fake,” but if we look back at July of 2016 Trump barely held a narrow 42 percent-39 percent lead over Clinton in the Sunshine State.
