The ad pleaded for “EVERY Patriot” to step up to “CRUSH Sleepy Joe’s dreams of turning America into a BIG GOVERNMENT SOCIALIST Nation”.

Social media users put the description of Trump as “father” to Pence down to a botched copy-and-paste job of wording used in ads sent out by the president’s sons, Eric and Donald Jr.

“Eh. Pence called Trump “father” is just as believable as this being copy and pasted,” wrote one commenter.

“A reminder that everyone in this regime, from the top all the way to the bottom, sucks mightily at what they do,” another wrote.

The ad, paid for by Donald J Trump for President Inc, was posted on 3 July and is now “inactive”.
