Vice President Mike Pence made a stop at the Mayo Clinic on Tuesday to speak with officials and be around patients who have been suffering from COVID-19.
Pence thought it would be a good idea if he was the only person in the room without a protective mask.
Now, according to Maggie Haberman of The New York Times, Pence claims that “since I don’t have the coronavirus” he can be careless and go around without any protective equipment.
“And since I don't have the coronavirus, I thought it'd be a good opportunity for me to be here, to be able to speak to these researchers these incredible healthcare personnel and look them in the eye and say thank you.” more Pence per pool
