Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee (R) was ridiculed over the weekend after his apparent failure at reading comprehension formed the basis for him to push a conspiracy theory that president Joe Biden didn’t actually win the Georgia election.
“70% of Georgians said they would vote for Trump in 2024, and 55.5% disapprove of the job Biden is doing. Makes you wonder how Biden could have won Georgia, but you’d better not wonder that out loud,” Huckabee posted to Twitter, sharing a recent poll.
Political reporter Stephen Fowler tracked down the source of the numbers the former Arkansas governor cited, which was not included in Huckabee’s tweet. It turns out that Huckabee was citing a Trafalgar poll of Republican primary voters.
Huckabee was mocked for celebrating that only 70 percent of Georgia Republican voters would support Trump, which explains why he lost in the state.
lol Huckabee misread a Trafalgar poll that shows only 70% of Georgia GOP primary voters would vote for Trump in ‘24. https://t.co/QoP4Z1Yfns pic.twitter.com/qs2QF6Xlsn

100% of people who read this tweet know that’s not mathematically possible or grounded in reality.
Georgians love Trump so much they voted for two Dem senators (and Biden) in a state that’s no longer demographically a shoo-in for Republicans! https://t.co/XmF1OOPBex pic.twitter.com/b8C4HRJxYQ

Quite sure he didn't misread it, he's just a liar.

stupid or dishonest, neither is a good look

He didn't " misread" anything. He knew what it was. He also knew 95% of the zombie hoard would not check where the numbers came from. The GOP takes full advantage of their under educated base at every turn.
