The two New Jersey men were seen in a viral video mocking the death of George Floyd as Black Lives Matter protestors were marching by. According to WPVI reporter Maggie Kent, those men have been suspended from their jobs.
According to reports, one man was a New Jersey corrections officer and the other is a FedEx employee. Both of them are now under investigation by their employers. The men have been identified as Joe and Jim DeMarco.
The men were caught on video taunting protesters Monday in Franklinville in South Jersey. One of the men can be seen kneeling on the neck of a figure lying face-down on the ground.
Just would like to speak about how disgusting, racist and evil people can genuinely be. Couple of Franklinville trump supporters mocking the tragedy of George Floyd. Twitter, do your thing please. This is unacceptable and disturbing pic.twitter.com/rgX37UuUEX
