Donald Trump, the self-proclaimed tough guy, can’t even stomach the thought of one night in jail, according to his own niece, Mary Trump.
In her unapologetically candid Substack newsletter, Mary Trump, a vocal critic of her uncle, doesn’t hold back. She paints a vivid picture of the former president behind bars: isolated, stripped of his precious phone, and utterly incapable of enduring the harsh reality of confinement.
“He may like to portray himself as a tough guy, but imagine him alone in a cell, cut off from the world, without his phone. He couldn’t handle it for one night,” the psychologist wrote.
“You seriously think that guy—ya know, Mr. Hair Product and Bronzer—wants to be in a jail cell overnight?” Mary Trump continued. “Without any of his products and without his cell phone?
“Are you kidding? Imagine what he’s going to look like in the morning?”
Facing charges of falsifying business records and hush money payments to silence Stormy Daniels, Trump finds himself in hot water yet again. Despite his denials and claims of innocence, the courtroom drama unfolds with fines for contempt, highlighting Trump’s blatant disregard for legal boundaries.
Mary Trump doesn’t mince words. She questions her uncle’s resilience, pointing out his apparent inability to stay awake during trial proceedings, a display she deems as contemptuous to the judicial process.
This isn’t the first time Mary Trump has cast doubt on her uncle’s fortitude. She has previously expressed skepticism about his capacity to handle the pressures of legal scrutiny, suggesting that behind the facade of bravado lies a man unraveling under the weight of his own actions.
Whether Trump faces the consequences of his alleged misdeeds remains to be seen, but one thing is clear: according to Mary Trump, he’s not nearly as tough as he likes to think.
