Once again, the residence of Keanu Reeves has fallen victim to criminal activity. According to law enforcement sources, individuals wearing ski masks unlawfully entered his Los Angeles home on Wednesday evening, managing to escape the area before officers could intervene.
The LAPD responded to an anonymous call reporting a potential trespasser on the actor’s property around 7 PM. Upon arrival, officers conducted a thorough search but found no intruders. However, law enforcement revisited the scene around 1 AM when an alarm on the property was triggered. This time, security cameras captured multiple masked individuals smashing a window and gaining entry to the house.
Authorities have revealed that the burglars seized a firearm from the home before fleeing. It remains uncertain if additional items were taken, but fortunately, Keanu was not present during the incident.
Detectives are currently analyzing footage from the residence and its surroundings to gather more information. One aspect under scrutiny is whether the initial call to the police was made by someone surveilling the house.
This unfortunate event adds to a series of security breaches involving the ‘John Wick’ star’s home. Notably, there were two consecutive intrusion attempts in 2014, and Keanu previously obtained a temporary restraining order against an alleged stalker who purportedly visited his home earlier in the year.
