Judge Cannon Rules In Trump’s Favor, Rejects Mid-December Trial, Doesn’t Set a Trial Date

Staff Writer

U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon, who was appointed by Donald Trump and is currently presiding over the former president’s classified documents trial, said Tuesday that a mid-December trial date would be too soon.

However, according to CNN, Cannon also seemed “skeptical of arguments from Donald Trump’s lawyers that he couldn’t get a fair trial while running for president.”
