It Took The Judge One Word To Remind ‘Irked’ Trump That He’s Not President Anymore During Arraignment

On Thursday, Donald Trump insisted that it was a “great honor” to face federal court arraignment concerning charges related to his post-2020 election actions. However, there was a moment during the proceedings when the former president reportedly displayed some displeasure.
This occurred when Trump’s attorneys addressed him as “President Trump” before Magistrate Judge Moxila Upadhyaya. In response, Upadhyaya greeted him with “Good afternoon, Mr. Trump.”
According to CNN’s Kaitlan Collins, Trump wasn’t fond of being referred to as “Mr. Trump” and found it particularly irritating.
“That may not sound odd to anyone else, but he is still referred to by his former title, President Trump, when he’s at his Bedminster golf club in New Jersey, as he is tonight, or at Mar-a-Lago,” she explained.
