Fox News host and Donald Trump apologist Sean Hannity announced Thursday he’d be off the air until 2022 after bombshell revelations about a private text message he sent then-White House chief of staff Mark Meadows as a mob of Trump supporters stormed the U.S. Capitol on January 6.
“I’m coming back ready for a political fight,” vowed Hannity, who in his Jan. 6 text to Meadows urged him to get then-President Donald Trump to call off the violent MAGA mob, the Huffington Post reported.
Asked by fellow pundit Laura Ingraham about his sudden long vacation, Hannity said: “On vacation, I try to center myself, find God, and then get my creative juices flowing, and I already know where I’m headed,” Hannity told Ingraham. “I know next year is the biggest most important midterm election year in our lives and I’m going to be focused like a laser beam.”
While going on holiday ahead of the festive season is normal, Twitter users noted how Fox News personalities have a history of getting into hot water and then taking time off.

Why would a “reporter” need to be in a “political fight”? (Isn’t he the one who spoke to TFG every night on the phone?)

Never use the word “reported” for faux news hosts.
By their network’s own definition they are “entertainment personalities”
Therein lies the problem, half the country watches news, the other half is lied to for entertainment.

"Find God." Hannity finding God, I have never laughed so hard in my life.

The scariest thing about that is that he thinks it is acceptable for him to be part of the "political fight" rather than reporting on it.

Don’t Fox hosts who go on vacation tend to not come back?
— Tom LeBlanc (@leblancweb) December 17, 2021
I think we can assume it's not a vacation, it's intensive meetings with his lawyers & he wants to know what he can & cannot say on air.

I saw this and thought it was a joke at first. I hope Hannity vacations the same place O'Reily went.
