Donald Trump had many chance to condemn Kenosha shooter Kyle Rittenhouse after he murdered two protestors last week. On Monday, Trump finally gave his comments on the incident. Instead of condemning the killer, the president defended him and painted him as the victim.
Trump also called for an investigation on the protestors who “attacked” Rittenhouse.
“That was an interesting situation,” said Trump of the shooting. “He was trying to get away from them … and then they very violently attacked him.” Trump added that “He probably would’ve been killed,” but that “it’s under investigation.”

People were not pleased with Trump’s remarks. Below are some reactions:
Yup there it is. He supports him. Have you seen the video of good ol’ Kyle beating you a girl? Great people..

He had already killed someone when he was attacked. People were trying to stop him from killing again.

Trump is defending a violent extremist who is charged with murder (x2) and attempted murder (x1). He is condoning it!!!! Trump’s presidency is so toxic and destructive for America.

President Law & Order defending an accused murderer. Unreal. Oh I know I should not be surprised but I reserve the right to never become jaded or cynical and always be shocked and outraged by the blatant immorality of the degenerate occupying and debasing the White House.

@DNC Kyle Rittenhouse claimed he was there to render first aid, protect businesses. Then said, “We don’t have nonlethal”. Rittenhouse brought an AR-15 to a protest and used it to shoot three people, killing two. Trump defense of his actions shows how unfit he is to be President.

They probably would've had him as a guest at the convention if they could've. This divisiveness has got to be stopped.

It’s time law enforcement takes back their own dignity & start proceeding appropriately like not murdering people & supporting their murdering peers…

He had just MURDERED someone in cold blood. The people chasing him were trying to hold him for arrest, and he murdered one of them, wounded the third.

The “pro-life,” “law and order” president makes excuses for murder. Nice.

They've raised a huge bundle of cash for legal fees. Guiliani's firm is already partaking of it. After the injustice, the grifters arrive.

Never before have we been this divided. He has created an enemy to attack, vilify and encourage harm, the Democratic party. He said he was going to end wars, but he has created a war within our country. He always has to have an enemy, now it's US citizens. #TrumpCrimeFamily

They didn't 'violently attack him'. He had ALREADY killed someone. Those brave men where trying to get his gun away from him. WTH!!! #TrumpIsFromHell
