This week, Texas Republican Governor Greg Abbott announced that the state will be opening businesses at 100% capacity while also scrapping the state’s mask mandate.
After President Joe Biden criticized Abbott’s approach, the Texas governor claimed that Biden was to blame for spreading COVID-19 in Texas for allowing undocumented immigrants into the state.
Both Abbott and Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick went on Fox News this week to spread xenophobia while trying to defend the decision to go back to normality while the virus continues to kill people.
