Mark Robinson, a controversial far-right GOP candidate in North Carolina’s gubernatorial race, sparked outrage with his latest remarks during a fiery church address in White Lake.
Robinson, known for his extreme views including Holocaust denial and opposition to women’s rights, declared on June 30, “Some folks need killing” and “It’s time someone said it. This isn’t about vengeance or spite; it’s a matter of necessity.”
“We Kill them, we kill them!” he told the congregants.
The MAGA candidate advocated for violence targeting “wicked people,” socialists, and communists, further underlining his penchant for radical rhetoric. His history includes linking homosexuality to pedophilia, pushing antisemitic conspiracy theories, and endorsing the ‘birther’ conspiracy against Barack Obama.
Robinson’s comments add to a disturbing trend among MAGA Republicans, aligning with Donald Trump’s narrative of justifying political violence as a response to perceived leftist threats.
This rhetoric echoes sentiments from figures like Kevin Roberts of the Heritage Foundation, who suggested a potential “bloodless” revolution turning violent if the left opposes conservative agendas.
With Trump himself hinting at potential unrest if the 2024 election doesn’t meet his expectations, Robinson’s words highlight a troubling escalation in political discourse within the GOP.
Watch the speech below:
Scary. Mark Robinson used his religious platform on July 4 to call for violence.
This isn’t leadership. This isn’t faith. This is unhinged:
“Get mad at me if you want to.
Some folks need killing! It’s time for somebody to say it.”Listen for yourself. #NCpol pic.twitter.com/oOER7avo9b
