YouTube on Friday temporarily suspended Fox News right-wing Dan Bongino, citing the right-wing personality’s repeated violation of the platform COVID-19 misinformation policy, according to The Hill.
The video platform also removed Bongino’s channel, which carries over 869K subscribers, from their Partner Program and “suspended monetization for repeatedly violating our Advertiser-Friendly Guidelines on harmful and dangerous acts.”
The initial strike against Bongino’s channel means he will not be “owning the libs” on YouTube for at least one week, according to the report.
Bongino is the latest right-wing personality suspended from social media platforms for spreading misinformation about COVID-19.
