The Atlantic had reported on Thursday that Donald Trump cancelled his trip to the Aisne-Marne American Cemetery near Paris in 2018 because he felt as if the troops buried there are “losers” and “suckers” for getting killed.
Trump had launched into a tirade on Friday after learning about the report and claimed that those accusations were false and he never said that about the troops.
“The Atlantic Magazine is dying, like most magazines, so they make up a fake story in order to gain some relevance. Story already refuted, but this is what we are up against,” Trump claimed, falsely stating the story had been refuted.
But hours after Trump’s tantrum, Fox News joined the Associated Press and The Washington Post and confirmed that the bombshell report in The Atlantic was in fact true.

Finally per @JenGriffinFNC “When asked if POTUS could have driven to the Aisne-Marne Cemetery, this former official said confidently, no security reason not to drive there-
“The President drives a lot. The other world leaders drove to the cemeteries. He just didn’t want to go.”
