A day after The Atlantic reported that Donald Trump called war heroes who were killed in combat “losers” and “suckers,” Joe Biden released a statement condemning the president for his attacks.
It didn’t take long after that for Donald Trump Jr. to try and justify what his father said by attacking Biden and claiming he hates America.
The president’s oldest son tweeted the following:
“Just when you think Biden can’t get any lower, he’s now using fallen soldiers as political props to smear my father with fake news. There’s nothing Biden’s radical America-hating handlers won’t do for power!!!”

Twitter users decided to call Don Jr. out. Here are some of the best responses:
And the best part is, I know you will say it's "Fake News," but there is literally a video right here in this tweet that proves me right, and you wrong. pic.twitter.com/IR0dMlHNBy

Biden isn't the one who called American soldiers losers and suckers.

Your father smeared every veteran & current service member when he said, "He's not a war hero. He was a war hero because he was captured. I like people who weren't captured."
Don't like a person? Fine, but don't belittle any time he/she served the country in any capacity.

After witnessing Joseph R. Biden's speech today… Daddy does not stand a chance in hell to win this election… Bring on the debates… and please bring fact checkers as well…

Trump is the one who craps on fallen soldiers.
Called soldier brain injuries "headaches"
Called McCain a loser, disparaged POWs (not heroes bc captured)

He said "If it's true, it's disgusting." He's correct. And if the shoe were on the other foot, and the Atlantic article had been written about Biden, and your father was asked about it, don't pretend for a second that he wouldn't have offered an opinion.
