36-year-old Brandon Turner is now under investigation after he shot and killed a man over a physical dispute at a McDonald’s parking lot. According to the Bevard County Sheriff’s Office, the man claims he was being physically attacked when he shot his gun to protect himself.
Reports claim that Deputies said they found a man in the parking lot suffering from a gunshot wound. The man was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
After an investigation, deputies said the man had walked up to a car belonging to the 36-year-old Turner of Cocoa and began to physically attack him. Investigators believe the man attacked Turner thinking he was someone else.
The sheriff’s office said during the unprovoked attack, Turner fired his gun from the car, hitting the man.
Investigators said the case is still ongoing and upon conclusion, the case will be forwarded to the State Attorney’s Office for review.
