“The Daily Show” has released a drug ad targeting a number of conservative figures on the right with a long history of praising Russian President Vladimir Putin and are desperately trying to erase the past.
As Putin continues his brutal war on Ukraine, some of these right-wing personalities are backtracking on their previous praises about him.
To help them achieve their goal, the Comedy Central show created a now-viral fake ad for a product for people like Fox News host Tucker Carlson, who in the past has said he was rooting for Russia and is now furiously trying to backpedal.
The ad features satisfied customers like former President Donald Trump and his onetime secretary of state, Mike Pompeo.
