A child has become the sixth person to die after a man rammed his SUV through a Christmas parade in Waukesha, Wisconsin this week, prosecutors said Tuesday. Authorities did not release the name of the child.
The assailant, Darrell E. Brooks, 39, has officially been charged with five counts of first-degree intentional homicide. The Waukesha County District Attorney’s Office said they will consider a sixth homicide charge, due to the child’s death, according to CNN.
If convicted, Brooks faces life in prison for all five charges, court document states.
