‘Check Out the Booker!’: Trump Fumes at Fox & Friends for Airing Guest Who Debunked His Economic Claims in Real Time

Donald Trump woke up Saturday morning raging at his longtime safe space, Fox & Friends Weekend. The president blew a gasket after the show booked Peter Schiff, the financial commentator who’s been warning about the country’s affordability crisis and didn’t hesitate to challenge Trump’s brag-filled version of the economy.

Stuck in snowy Washington, DC, Trump jumped on Truth Social and let loose, furious that anyone on Fox would question his self-declared economic heroics.

“Why would Fox and Friends Weekend (of all things?) put on a ‘Stockbroker’ named Peter Schiff, a Trump hating loser who has already proven to be wrong. Either the show made a mistake, or it is heading in a different direction,” Trump ranted.

Schiff’s segment didn’t tiptoe around Trump’s talking points, and that alone was enough to send Trump into full meltdown mode. He’s been dismissing affordability concerns as a Democratic “con job,” and having Schiff contradict him on live TV was apparently unforgivable.

Trump doubled down: “He thinks prices are going up when, in fact, they are coming substantially down. Gasoline hit $1.99 a gallon yesterday, in certain states, and is down BIG since Biden. Other prices are almost all down. Biden caused the AFFORDABILITY CRISIS, I’M FIXING IT, along with everything else! Much of it, like the Border, is already fixed.”

And because no Trump tirade is complete without a target, he demanded someone at Fox pay for the offense.

“Check out the ‘booker’ who put this jerk on!” he snapped.
